I'm currently on the look out for one of these discontinued units. Anybody used one, or got one or selling one?

Nick McCabe and Joseph Arthur seem to be collecting them so any replies would be appreciated.

Cheers

Do you mean the rackmount unit? I've used one for years for my looping sets, both midi controlled and on the fly. I upgraded the chip to add more features (created by original jamman designer bob Sellon). My rig is here http://www.nickrobinson.info/music/tech.htm

Haven't tried the footpedals, since they don't allow midi control.

Yeah, the rack mount unit would definitley be more useful in the pro gig situation.

I've narrowed it down from other loop pedals really. Just really hard to get hold of!

There's one on Ebay right now, I'm watching it. Ends in a couple of days. Up to £50 at the moment. Has a few footswitches with it too.

the footswitches are rubbish - really spongy and not suitable for timing loops accurately, but something like this will do the job perfectly (or you can use midi pedal, but it must be programmable, like the FCB1010 - standard midi patch change pedals aren't suitable.)

Note the reserve price isn't met yet ;(

Totally missed the auction Jonny - what price did it go for?
