Hi, I fitted Barden P/ups http://www.joebarden.com/main.php To my other Burns Marquee today after hearing very good reports on them, I love single coils these are single coil Rail type Humcuckers with maximum Twangalot. The S-Deluxe are the best pups I've had on this geetar anyone else tried Barden's? these are so good I want to buy more

I had a U.S '52 reissue Telecaster with them in. Great pickups

Sold that guitar ages ago for various reasons, took the Bardens out and sold them on Ebay and since got a Fender 'Nocaster' which does the job perfectly for my ears anyhow.

I thought they were really great but not perfect for what I wanted. They never had the springy-twang of a great Telecaster tone - although they were fantastic in other ways. I might try them again in a different guitar sometime.

Hi, this is why I have mounted them on a Burns Marquee, as with my other Burns Guitars they sound very, thin in the out of phase bridge and mid p/up mode, no matter what p/ups I have had on them. played around with everything from pots to wiring.
Now it has twang.. bucket loads of it very Tele and no hum. Happy days.
