Or want to for that matter?

1970's guitars are slowly creeping up in value and I'm thinking if I don do it know then it will be out of reach.

Is it just me? or anyone else thought about this?

It's not just guitars I also want a 1978 Triumph Spitfire

You're obviously a lot younger than I sir! I have lots of guitars from before I was born (Gibsons from 1928 and 1933, Hofners from 1956, 1958x2 and 1965, Stella parlour guitar from 1948, A Gretsch from 1962) and one Stella 12 string from 1967 I think (the year I was born) The rest are a little more modern.

Hi, nothing I own is that old apaert from my '79 Peavey Nashville. Thomas our Double Bass play assures me his Kay upright is circa 1952.

after my last purchase it's gonna be a while until I get anything else and I'm not quite sure where a Senator would fill my needs apart from that is being made in the year I was born. I get away with buying MORE guitars by calling them investments but oh the decadence of buying a guitar just because it was made in my birth year! :)
