What was it like to meet him? He seems like a lovely guy.

Have you ever been star struck? Do you ever get tongue tied when you meet these sort of people. I'm an absolute disaster when I meet anyone famous. the signal path from my brain to my mouth gets severed somehow. I even got tongue tied talking to Shez outside the Olympia. Please apologise to Shez on my behalf. The Guinness didn't help matters.

I keep saying those very words to myself. I only started playing again about 5 years ago andI'm up to 9 now, which I know is nowhere in your league of collecting but I find it rather frightening that there's always a gig or a record with an amazing guitar sound triggering me into further guitar lust and a song I write that just needs that sound....
I guess it's ok when they pay for themself.
I used to work in a guitar shop in Ealing, London in 77 and John Entwhistle used to drop by every now and then just to see if we had any Decent old guitars he didn't have. He must've had some collection.
...But they are beautiful things and they do inspire new creations.
