I know what you mean about the bigsby's. I have them on all of my guitars. It's weird when I play a guitar without one. I don't if thats a good or bad thing. Heres one with all original tags still on from 1952. http://www.otobanmusic.com/index.php?li ... itarId=645 . You could always get one put on

Just found a lovely pair with bigsby's . Check out these two beauties. Both in mint condition. The first is $3500, which is around £2180 pounds. http://www.gbase.com/gear/gibson-es295-1991-gold. The second is mint and unplayed and is $3750 which is around £2290. http://www.gbase.com/gear/gibson-es-295 ... 92-reissue. I know you don't buy gear over the internet anymore but its still nice to look

You sound like a kid in a candy store. :*: The 90's reissues look lovely and in mint condition. The one from 92 is unplayed and looks like it just left the factory. Some of the 1950's are in fairly good nick considering there age. Have you ever played one?

Considering that the reissues aren't that cheap, i'd hang on for a while, save up more/get rid of a couple of things and go for that original 1952 ES295 that has all the sale tags and original case.

Scotty Moore all the feckin' way 8) 8) 8)

The 52 is a beauty alright. But he wants one with a bigsby. It would be sacrilage to start drilling holes and putting in a new bridge on a 52 295. Don't understand why gibson no longer make this guitar instead of a million reincarnations of the les paul

I reckon it's because Jimmy Page, Mike Bloomfield, Duane Alman and Eric Clapton never played them in the late '60's/early '70's - those chaps recordings help sell so many guitars.

The fact that Scotty Moore is one of the godfathers of rock and roll don't enter into it - he didn't have long hair and didn't play 20 minute solos through a Marshall on 10. Call me cynical, but that's what I believe

The Gibson Custom shop will only take special orders if you order 20 guitars. I'll have one, Richard would defo take one, Sir twangalot would take one. Any other takers? :*:

Maybe we should start a petition to get them to make it again or have a word with someone from gibson. :*: This guitar was at the birth of rock n roll yet for some reason it's always overlooked
