I'm not prone to fainting, but I think I might just if I chopped off a finger

Superglue's great isn't it, i cut the top of my little finger off with a scalpel ages ago, it wasn't a massive cut but there was a lot of skin flapping about! superglue did the trick anyway.

Oh that's awful! The times I've cut my fingers (not as bad as that) is not the chopping, it's moving the knife to the sink, or the worst was on just a table knife trying to open a plastic wrapped cap - proof to always use a sharp knife carefully over a dull one stupidly. After waiting for some 5 hours in emergency, they used "medical" superglue which seemed just like the stuff at home.

as a kid, me and my school chums were playing something around an open drain for whatever reason... eventually i fell in and rocked back and cracked my head on the concrete behind me and cut it open a bit. There was a lot of blood... and me screaming like a little girl

they put some medical superglue in there, right as rain- glue or gaffa tape will fix any problem

the crack on the head does explain a lot...

As a teenager in my parents shop I sliced my fingers on the bacon slicer TWICE. I was somewhat affected by alcohol on one of the occassions but was on first names terms in A&E.

Dr John famously had his finger shot off trying to protect his bandmate. He switched from guitar to piano and the rest is history. Hope Jeff Beck can still play.
