Hello all. One of my first posts here, although I'm a regular reader/lurker.
Anyway, I don't really know much about this Dickerson bloke, other than him being a rockabilly player. He recently played here in Bilbao (couldn't attend) and what drew my attention was a picture in the local paper of him playing this strange doubleneck with soapbar pickups stuck on at odd angles. A little investigation took me to his website and I thought this article about his guitar and amps might be of interest:

I have seen Deke with the Dave and Deke combo by pure accident in Spain a few years ago, I went there to visit our vocalist Diane who lived there and to see 'Honest John Plain and the Amogos' The wasn't playing that double neck but a Les Paul. Good gig.....i think...........Hic*****

an old mosrite doubleneck as they said in the article if im not mistaken or atleast something based on it... they were popular with surf guitarists in the 60s... the ventures i think??
