theres a forum called offset guitars i postt at from time to time- they regularly rave about them- cant go wrong from what ive heard

I love the chimey sound of them.

I've got the combo one. I really like it. I use it with a '65 Lennon Casino and an '84 Matsumoko Epiphone Riviera. Both sound great. The ability to switch between 1/4 watt - 1 watt - 4 watts is very cool. It's still quite loud though. I would like to try the head/cab version as it sometimes sounds a bit 'boxy'. The only thing I don't really like is the limited EQ options, just the one knob. It's well worth giving a try though, a quality valve amp for £189!

I used to use it in stereo with a marshall class 5 all valve combo, and it sounded even better. The marshall was a different beast but the larger speaker gave the sound a bit more body.

Love the Vox though!

I'm tempted to get the head/cab version as i've got an old Harmony valve amp, and one of the Epiphone Valve Jr's too, both are little combos. (used them in stereo and they sound fantastic) I'm used to the limited eq tho, my Harmony just has vol & tone, the Epiphone just a vol. makes you work harder!

Another thumbs-up for the combo version!

Great sounding amp with a lot of oomph for its size. As Jonny 2 Owls says, it can sound a little 'boxy' under certain circumstances, but a bit of fiddling can coax some fantastic tones out of it.

And it looks very, very cool, too.
