facing surgery soon, but still have gig commitments, so Icant play my heavier guitars both before and after.

So I dusted off my little Gibson Melody Maker, for gigs and rehearsals.

Didnt think it would cut the mustard in a soul band,but blow meif I havent fallen back inlove with this blissfully simple little guitar.

Lovely chunky neck, lightweight, very responsive tone controls. Who would have thought that you can get so many tones from one pickup?

Gibson get a bad press sometimes but their bottom end guitars are ace IMO

I think this and my Danelectro will be getting a lot of play time over the next few weeks, maybe more.

GASsing for an LP Jnr now.........!
