got a couple of my guitars online from Soundslive, highly recommended. i've never bought guitars online before and was a bit wary, but Soundslive we're doing the Jazzmaster very cheap, with free next day delivery too, and if you wasn't happy you could return it within a couple of days. I also bought a classic vibe tele a couple of years ago and both guitars came well set up and they both play & sound great.
Definately worth trying.

I've bought a few bits of gear from Soundslive in the past, but not guitars. Was v. impressed by their service, though. Might take another look at them - that Mascis Jazzmaster is a lovely thing. Cheers, Mr L!

Update: Really like the look of this - http://www.soundslive.co.uk/product~name~Squier-Vintage-Modified-Jaguar-Guitar-Surf-Green~ID~17600.asp

Surf green? Yes please!

Just had a look at the surf Strat - really nice looking thing. I feel a trip to the guitar shop coming on...

I had a great surf blue Japanese Jag, I bought PAF pick ups and got it all "Cobained" up, then fell out of love with it and almost gave it away on eBay £450, I wish I still had it... That's something I've learned, never get I of your old stuff, put it away until you want it again....
