I played the white falcon style one at soundcheck at the Troxy, they brought me one down to try along with a 6119 which I totally fell in love with, they're great guitars sort of like a 335ish but still retaining all that Gretsch tone and bite

The white falcon one looks beautiful. Was it the Double cutaway or the single? The double cutaway is my favourite. Not unlike your double cutaway nashville but with some serious bling. The black one is stunning too. http://www.gretschguitars.com/products/ ... 2400800806. Are they heavy with the center block?

It was the double cutaway, and yes it's a seriously blingy machine, they are a lot thinner than me Nashville more like a 335 actually I have a silver falcon which is similar in looks to the black version it's plays great and the weight wasn't too bad at all.But don't take my word for it mate go and try one 8)

I had a twang on an ES-330 rVOS re-issue job a few weeks ago and I was planning on taking the plunge coz I've been looking for a fully/semi hollow machine with a bigsby and it blew my mind. However, I'm going to have to see if I can find somewhere in sunny scotland that stocks these so I can try one out before I make any potentially rash decisions!

That is a beautiful guitar that Chet Atkins (1954?) one. I think it might feature in Jim Jarmusch's new film 'Only Lovers Left Alive' by the way! The main character buys a load of rare guitars you see (not the one in the pic, obviously)...
