hi. Gretsch guitars feature a lot in your playing. I believe the scale length on these is a fraction shorter than on gibson. Dont know what your thoughts are but I feel the sound is more compressed on a shorter scale. All guitars are difficult to play (properly) but I've always found the Fender harder in open positions and the string tension is greater. Plenty of people like 'em though. :!:

Just a final word on Gretsch. I once saw someone play "Albatross" on a G6120 and Fender amp. It sounded brilliant.better than the original <*>
