Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere/previously (if anyone else can answer, feel free):

I've often wondered why Mr. H never seems to use Strats. I'm sure he must have done on occasion/in the past, or maybe in the studio, and I know we all have our favorite guitars that we like and stick to, but I've never seen him use one ever, (unless I've just missed it!) so I thought I'd be nosey and ask.

If you're around Richard, I was just wondering, do you not get on with them/like them, or do you just find your Gretsch's and Rickie's/combinations of other guitars give you all the tones you ever need? Are there any particular tracks on any of the albums that you remember using a Strat on?

Thanks, and congrats on the new album, looking forward to the Liverpool show on Friday! :D

I had a strat up until recently,I bought it for my Dad but he only got to play a short while before he died....I gave it to Anna from the Ming City Rockers....I love Telecasters and Jaguars but never got on with Strats or Jazz masters either....I'm afraid I'm a semi acoustic boy through and through....although to contradict that I have a few solid body guitars.....I love the playing of Buddy Holly,Hendrix and loads of other Strat players....Dad had a 63 that was his pride and joy....he sold it for virtually nothing during the steel strikes which still rankles, but I just couldn't get a sound I liked.....that's about it

Was this the "UFO" lurking under the sofa, that started it all?
