Tim Buckley had a superjumbo customised Guild 12-string in the 1960's and I hope to get one myself

he's got tons of guitars at home, remember that weird-shaped 12-string which he auctioned {forgot the make} - he scrawled "12 strings, twice the fun" on the body 8) :D

i must thank all on this board for opening my eyes to the joys of the 5120.
i tried one out the other day after seeing the info presented here and i bought it on the spot. shockingly good sounding and playing given the low price tag (595-US) and it's already found it's way onto a record in progress so a justifiable purchase indeed. in the words of that cultural icon alan partridge, AHA!!!

thanks

well, i picked up my orange 5120 yesterday and im slightly in love, seems like it was set up pretty well straight out the box and it plays lovely. the build quality is spot on as far as i can see and it even comes with a little card that tells you the name of the man that tuned it up! lovely :D :D :D
