Just come across this clip from 1964 when Ringo was indisposed. Anyway, posting it just cos it seems to capture the sheer volume of the fans, the wildness of the crows as well - like a football crowd surging to the fences but also watch carefully for some real odd characters such as the guy sitting eating a sandwich. Sound is a bit ropey but Beatles sound cool to me http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=dJulGC4eD ... re=related |

Yeah...the other night on Spotlight..thay showed some previously unseen film of The Beatles visiting Cornwall/Devon in 1967. Some film producer had acquired it,and said it had been shot by members of the public. They looked like thay were having a right laugh together................even Newquay looked alright,it probably was alright in the 60s...it's a right eyesore now..............( in parts anyway..... |

Was that whilst they were filming Magical Mystery Tour? I think that was filmed out west. |

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Gf-Q2rDd6Tw http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=QCMDPeiZm-Y The clip of them playing Revolution is just immense. They used it in the film 'The US Vs. John Lennon', saw it in the cinema and as soon as a 15ft high vision of the Beatles came on screen playing it, life just felt so fucking great. |
