Or the syrup that goes with it...

Or maybe he's the face of Just for Men 2009...

I dyed my hair once several years ago for a bet - left it on for 5 mins - then realsied I had mis read the pack - it was 5 mins max - came away lookin like a 48 year old Robert Smith...

At work a few days later no one would look me in the eye - found out a few hours later that folks thought I was going through a mid life crisis...

I dye my hair all the time - in fact, I'll dye it until I die.

No. But few people naturally have jet-black hair, either.

I once died my hair black in the vain attemp to cover my gray, unfortunately it made me look like Pappa Lazarou, sans make up of course.
Pegs anyone? :afro:

People with natural jet black have the right skin colour for it, a lot of people who dye their hair black don't look right because nature never intended them to be that dark. Same goes for bleached blondes.

There most certainly is, as a 38 year old trying to look younger & ending up looking like that well it nearly made me cry, if it had been anyone but me who had done it i would have laughed my arse off. Hubby said yeah looked nice, bet he was laughing inside tho....

I've seen quite a few people over the years who look totally wrong with the hair colour they chose. I know someone whose natural colour is a glorious pale apricot. She dyed it black - she looked dreadful.

Doesn't take an expert to notice that someone looks wrong with their hair colour, make up, or whatever. Ditto clothes colours, the right shades make people look better than the wrong shades. Very few people can actually wear brown, or colours with a brown hue to them, but a lot do and look very drab whereas a person with the right natural colouring will look splendid wearing brown.

You are spot on & if i get my hair dyed now it's subtle, as near as my shade as possible just enough to cover the gray. this also works for curly v straight hair, i have mad curly hair & got it straightened at the hairdressers & it looked awful put about 15 years on me. :afro:

I dyed my hair black once, as Denise (the expert ) says you have to have the skin tone for it... the dark blonde eyebrows didn't help either, I looked absolutely terrible.
Being the cheap bastard that I am I wouldn't pay the hair dresser to fix it so I tried bleaching is back blonde...whereupon it went green, so I then dyed it red...this was all a week before I got married, so I was a red head for the big day :*: nightmare.
