So somebody made a 72 second video to show all the flights on the planet in a 24 period.

That was mental...why did the whole world flood into Europe in the middle and then flood out again by the end???

Flying is the safest form of travel by far.

I'm sure it is, but it terrifies me the most - apart from my Brother-in-law's driving, when I say my prayers. :pale:

I've never flown. sometrhing I must get round to doing. My Mum flew for the first time aged 75 - to America 8) She loved it. She's frightened to death in a car....Nothing to do with my driving of course Image Image

I just love thinking about the end destination ... the anticipation is delirious ... don't care how I get there they all equally freak me out in different ways but if I'm not driving then it's not so bad. Flown places in 14 hours it'd take weeks to drive to. :D

... ferries scare me more than 'planes. Greek ferries and I need serious drugs before I'll get on board then I'll cling to the one life-raft until we dock. :pale: :shaking:

I went on a ferry...across Lake Windermere! Ooh, I've been around :D I was more worried that the car wouldn't start when it was time to drive off, as the engine would never start whilst warm

planes are great, I like flying though I hate airports, ironic maybe I work at one, but when flying the whole security thing and being treated like cattle, hearded through Qs your jacket off, your belt off etc, being fondled by a strange man in blue plastic gloves  and not being able to bring liquids and stuff does my head in.
