And they're playing in Birmingham at the Island Bar on the 19 Mar. All being well, I shd be there, even though it is a school night. And to prove how fab they are, read the interview I did with them back at Castleton. Lovely people, v intelligent, v talented. Sorry to repeat myself on this score...but they do deserve as much praise as we can chuck at 'em.

Yep, I really like these girls, one of them has a similiar tone to PJ Harvey, quite a powerful sound. I like their lyrics alot too and am introducing a few friends to them via them dandy Myspace pages.

Great name for a duo too :D

I was right in front of them, but the guy next to me was jabbering quite loudly in my ear, so actually I barely heard them

I missed them a Castleton :( so I am looking forward to seeing them for the first time. I was going to ask who are the 'guests'. :D

I missed them as well after the gig we went back to the digs had a few drinks and went to bed!!!

Pete Molinari is up to be part of the gig as well - but nothing definate - and probably not all dates - this is covered by Richard on another thread - probably Trulelove Gutter ...

I just hope its at Manchester / Brumigham / Liverpool :)

Listening to an interview with Pete on Radio 6 - link available on the links secton - he may have a new album out by October so he could be touring to back the release.

Just ordered their next e.p.

Saw them play a truncated show at Leigh Folk Festival the other weekend, they were super but had to compete with a kazoo band along the way which was a bit unhelpful.

Very taken with how gritty the slide guitar is (not to mention mesmeric vocals)

Single and EP set arrived the other day and it's just lovely! Ancient and modern all at once.
