He's made a whole album of them. The bastard.

I haven't heard it yet but I did think it was a bit rich (no pun intended) of the ginger, wet-cake-in-the-rain-face hobbit to sing about poverty.

Evil man, given two bullets and immunity from prosecution I'd probably pop him twice just to make sure...*

Every time we hear the first bar of any one of his 'songs' on the radio there's a rush to turn it off.

*This isn't actually true; I'm not a violent man but I hope you get my drift...

Urgh I can't stand that man - perhaps its the red hair - its definitely the voice..............

He makes me feel sick looking at him - same with that Mike Batt - just looking at him and hearing him on the advert for his album.......... :pale:

Yes they've both got faces I could never get sick of kicking.

If I was like that.

Which I'm not.

I really don't see the point of getting worked up about him and dredging up all this bitterness - if you don't like his music then that's fine(and I don't care for his music).Maybe more to do with jelousness and self loathing than anything else (yes some gingers do have success with women !) .:eh?

I don't particularly like John Mellor* and I think his music is totally phoney and that he was a total fake ....but that is a thread in it's self .

Perhaps if you tried removing your head from your own arse and enjoying the view for a while you might have a better idea.

Think he did some great records in the fifties-"Move it" is one of the best -the intro alone is amazing-if Gene Vincent or someone/anyone other than Cliff had recorded that it would be up there as one of the greats-nowt wrong with Cliffs version bar the fact its known as a Cliff record.

I bought devil womam when i was a bairn too-classic :D

Had a debate at work today. I work on a daily regional paper and we've been offered an interview with Mr Hucknall. After a conflab with our music reporter we decided to keep shtum and not tell our middle of the road middle-aged boss about the 'offer'. Would rather leave what precious space we have for genuine new and up-and-coming talent. It's about the only things us journos can do today to keep some sense of pride.

Saw Mick years ago in Manchester on New Year's Eve. 4am and couldn't get a cab for love nor money then spotted the red-headed one flagging down a cab, completely off his tits with a blonde on each arm. We jumped in ahead of him and yelled 'Happy new year' - he even waved to us as we drove off. Off his head tosser! Do I feel guilty? NO!!!
