Don't get me wrong, the sun being out is great, but anything over 65 degrees seems to floor me. Miserable git? Funny, that's what they call me at work.... :D

Lofty it's okay to avoid the heat! Sunny on crisp spring days when you've got to layer up is fabulous. Autumnal walks through amber forests just meltingly wonderful. Full-on heat summers with burnt shoulders ... no thank you. :D

Ah, Mists & mellow fruitfulness & all that. Lovely. My house thinks it's a storage heater - cool all day in summer, whilst I'm out. Evening comes & the temperature goes mad. Thick walls you see. Think I'll sleep in the garden if we get a heatwave :)

I have no frame of reference any more...living in Florida it's fucking sun, heat, sweat, misery...give me a cold beer every single day (almost) The back yard doesn't get used for 7 months a year because it's just unbearably hot...if you're outside you need to be in water or you will dehydrate and die...I always laugh my ass of at the crazy Brits walking around Disneyworld in August with their tank tops and shorts and no sun screen...oh the red shoulders.

Being someone who dislikes warm weather, I'm now fed up! Summer's coming. Last of the Bank Holidays, tomorrow (well, today actually), till August. Solid work until September when I head for The Lakes. Something to look forward to there, at least. Can't wait. Bah, Humbug :(

Blimey loftyeric, I thought you being a motorcyclist you'd love the warm weather. Hot tarmac, sticky tyres, the wind in yer face....I personally can never wait as it means the bike comes out in anger...as opposed to being wobbled around on icy/wet roads....

I love watching the seasons, but being out in them is a different matter.

What did Billy Connolly say? There's no such thing as bad weather...just the wrong clothes.

True enough. Still prefer a nip in the air mind. Had a dreadful ride up to Burnley one April. Snow, sleet, mist the lot. Came back next day, sun shining, snow on the hills, blue sky...numb fingers...gorgeous though. Home to tea, toast & fireside. Lovely :)

It's the opposite:
If it's too hot to wear a jacket, the weather is wrong, wrong, wrong.

We had something approaching the monsoon today! Seemed to find its way through all the gaps in our workshop roof. Not as bad as our old place though, where we got struck by lightning  Blew all the phone lines & the police turned up thinking we'd had terrorists

'Did you see anything suspicious?' they asked. Yes. It looked suspiciously like lightning, officer. :*:
