I met someone the other day who said they never drink and 'don't need drink to be happy'.....................I don't believe that really,I love the way drink loosens your tongue............................sure enough she looked happy but there was a phoney air about her..............tha'ts for sure.

I try not to drink too much because I lose all sight of the tiny amount of tact that I was born with and my thoughts just drift out of my mouth .... e.g. I was at a party on Saturday and heard myself repeatedly telling the lovely hostess how much I disliked her light fitting ...... every time I remember the occasion the voice in my head sounds louder ....

Oh dear, I have just discovered that Pedro aka the-kitten-formerly-known-as-hawleyboard is rather partial to G&T... :? ... ... I wonder if it's possible to train him to open the bottle, pour, add ice and slice of lemon and deliver to me?

Great to read these stories.

Reminds me of a person I used to work with who couldn't hold her drink but would insist on trying to drink as much as everyone else.

After one such night she staggered off to the tube to get home. Once on the platform she realised that she was going to be sick so made a dash for the rubbish bin mounted on the wall (tells you how long ago this was!). Unfortunately the inside bin part had been removed so when she was sick it went all down her ankles and feet! Needless to say she managed to get a seat to herself all the way home.

:*: :*: I have witnessed women being very discretely sick into their handbags on the last train out of Kings Cross on the 'hertford loop' .... ... goes without saying that the handbags alone would have made me sick, dreadful taste without the addition of vomited pinot grigio.

Ah, so that's what handbags are for? I thought they were just for dancing around :)

Depends on the handbag, loftyeric. No way would I be sick in one of my bags ... I'd rather vomit on the bloke opposite and get a smack on the nose rather than ruin one of my handbags (and the contents, which consist of half my life on the run) :*:
