Without wanting to stoke the political debate: I watched an interview with Roy Hattersley recently, in which he stated that MT was our greatest PM since the war! He later went on to say that painful as it was, she saved the country!

Discuss.

Why waste a perfectly good grave? There are plenty of closed coal mines that could be used. A fitting end I think?

Haven't been able to get onto the forum in a while and was instantly attracted to this thread. As some of you know, I worked with miners in Yorkshire from 1992-1995 - victims of that appalling woman's sickening policies. I wholeheartedly echo the above quote - it's so true - and so are everyone else's comments. When I heard they were planning a state funeral for her, I was speechless (a rare occurence!). Now, I'm merely incandescent with rage. How DARE they plan to squander further millions on that evil bitch!

You 'take' the Daily Mail then?

Brown sure as hell ain't perfect, but I'd rather have someone that gives a toss (although admittedly it doesn't always come across) than that vacuous cnut Blair.

Still keeping one day's Annual Leave back for the day she pegs it. (Don't see it being declared a Public Holiday :Hoorah ).

:eh?
since when as a sharp suit or a trip to the barbers made a country a better place in this day an age... the alternatives look like a bunch of inbred public schoolboys and no one stands a chance these days of becoming a figure of power unless they suck the corporate cock as part of their career path into the new world order...

it goes without saying that the day 'she' pegs it I will be on the next affordable privatised train available to celebrate with my friends and family that have had their lives ruined by that 'woman', i can't wait to take part in the best street party this country will ever hold... good fookin riddance
