Hi everyone,

After having a think over the last few days I have come to the decision that it is no longer appropriate for me to post on the forum, at least not for a while. As those of you in Sheffield who know me personally and those of you I have been lucky to meet over the last three years thanks to this fantastic forum which I love, will know that there are various problems in my life at the moment which need sorting out. I am sorry if this has come across as "whining" on the forum, there is no place for this here and for those who have been tested or annoyed or just plain pissed off with me, I apologise. And i'm sure my problems seem to be, and are, insignificant compared to some. I love you all, but now believe it is not appropriate for me to talk about these things or necessary for people on here to hear about them. So therefore I have to leave the forum. I know there are those of you out there who care for me and believe me I am grateful, and I know there are those of you out there who probably hate me, and you're probably right to do so as well. It is clear that people don't appreciate me posting and to show I am am very sorry to them I shan't be coming on here in the future if that is what is deemed necessary.

It has been a difficult decision because I love this forum, but I truly believe it will be a better place without me.

Thankyou to everyone, and to Richard, Dawoodcock, Catsandbooks, Dave W, Dave S, Maggie, Ida, Baroness, Craig, in particular. I love you all and thank you all, and I apologise to everyone.

C'mon mate. Sounds like there's a lot going on but we stick together.

Survive the tough times and celebrate the good. Walking away doesn't usually fix anything. I wouldn't want you to quit the forum...even for a while.

This madhouse is one of the things that keeps me sane!!!

I hope you come back soon. I can't imagine why people would hate you. I haven't met you, but judging by reading most of your posts you're a lovely guy with great heart and really talented.

i think this is aimed at a comment i made half in jest...sometimes things in print/on the net etc don't come out the way you want them too....i am not going to be dragged into a big flouncey faffy mardy arsed row we've been there before but all i will say is this


Luke stop being over sensitive and get posting you know you want to,i know your having a shit time loads of us are too believe it or not you AREN'T THE ONLY ONE.......people may think i float around on cloud nine all the time and hang out at fuckin swanky(wanky)pop star parties but i don't i actually genuinely spend a great deal of my time on hear because....wait for it.......................i like it...............its filled in the main by real folk .....................your issues are very real to you and i am sorry if your having a bad time ...........however if you feel you need to leave then fine it is a free world and i can't or wouldn't want to stop you just chill a bit i am sorry if i pissed you off.............take it like i meant it this time please .nuff said.

Luke, you'll be back by the end of the week...maybe you won't post that quickly but you know you can't keep away and if things are as awful as they are why deprive yourself of a thing that gives you some comfort....I know we are all a bunch of cold hearted bastard who want to tell you to stop moaning until you've got real problems...but hey, that's just who we are.

it seems to me luke that you have some sort 'doomed notion' of yourself and that can be a self fullfilling prophecy. you need to, and i know it's hard, paint on a smiling face and try your damndest to think in a more positive way.

but if you've quit the forum, you won't be reading this anyway will you?
