That is awful Ricky, your poor neighbour.

The one good thing about when my mother-in-law was robbed is that she was chatting to them quite happily while they ransacked her bedroom. She had no idea until after they had gone. She is still upset that they took her engagement ring. :cry:

Many thanks for all the kind words and good wishes, much appreciated, shows there are far more nice people around than bad ones.

Liz and Mike came back this afternoon after 2 nights away. The neighbours have rallied round with their best wishes. She still looks shell shocked but said it's time now to move on and not let the bastards win.

No news on whether they have caught them but someone got half the reg of the getaway car and make and model....here's hoping.

thanks again.....posting and reading the replies was a much needed distraction.
