Especially when an arctic freeze is forecast for tomorrow onwards! Layers Louise, keep your feet, neck and wrists warm - plenty of warm, milky drinks - and a bloody great saucepan to heat water with! Hope the engineer can come out to you very soon! |

I had the heating back, I'm not frozen to death thank God, but I remain without hot water. The heating came back in its own, very weird Tomorrow someone should come and have a look at the temperamental bloody boiler. |

we have a breakdown service plan with British Gas, it costs £16 a month, for that they come out and fix it for you no charge for labour and parts and they give your boiler a service once a year, works out at £192 a year sounds a lot but for a sevice and the thought that if your boiler breaks down they will come and sort it for you, worth bearing in mind this time of year |

We just got fleeced for £200 by some bloke who waved a feather duster at the boiler for 20 minutes. |
