oh god the awful truth comes out,i have bought so many bunches of flowers in petrol stations,although in my defense it was either pissed and i"have to marry you now"moments which actually happened"or"hon........your goin to be a dad"....oh god.....to my shame our lass told me about our first with the?Blue line"thing,jesus i RAN to Fagans and ordered three pints,a whiskey,a taxi.........necked them all in.........i promise....about four minutes........{not the taxi}..i drove round the city for twenty minutes and then went back and told our lass i would love her for ever............sooooo where were we?

to be fair, at the game last week all I heard was "96, wasn't enough" from United fans. I've never heard Liverpool fans singing Munich songs.. obviously there's bound to be some, but over ten years is a long time to go to games and never hear one, when United seem to constantly come out with this stuff, daubing anti liverpool slogans everywhere around old trafford, United even sing about Liverpool when they're not playing us. It's all a bit embarrasing.

Before anybody starts, i know though it was Man U they were playing, United aren't responsible for Wolves getting fined £25k yesterday for fielding a 'weak' team. I fully understand why Mick McCarthy did what he did, and given how results went for his team he made the right call. Personally i'd always want to see people play their strongest team in every game (never hurt anybody in good old days only using 14 players a season). But my problem is this, how many fucking times has Fergie and the like 'rested' players before a Champions League game, or when they're playing the likes of Wolves because they're playing Chelsea the week after. By rights they should be due a fine in the region of your average bankers annual bonus. Course it's not like it's one rule for one...

It does seem that Man Utd,and Fergie in particular,get away with murder.But come on Craig you can't rant at a manager,with three teams of internationals to pick from,not picking what other people consider to be his first choice eleven.

I don't just mean Man U, all the big teams. You can't tell me a Man U team without Wayne Rooney is not a weakened team. And so what if it's another 'international' he's bringing in and they still get the 'expected' result. Mick McCarthy rested some players and got the result he'd still have been expected to get. And a 25 grand fine. When Fergie doesn't pick his strongest team the weekend befoe the 2nd leg of the Milan game, will Man U get fined if they don't win? Will they fuck.

I still think it's hard to argue against utilising a big squad and still think Fergie gets away with murder.But i agree with the fine for Wolves.I know a Wolves fan,who went to Old Trafford and spent at least £100,who was disgusted with McCarthy for picking the youth team and not giving a fuck about the passionate fans who had looked forward to the trip for ages.Imagine how you would feel if O'Driscoll did the same.

But Mick did EXACTLY the same thing, utilised his squad to protect them for the next game. I take your point on a fan being pissed off at seeing a weakened team, no doubt in the same way a 10 year old would be when his Dad gets his one chance to take him to Old Trafford and the most he sees of Wayne Rooney is him warming up on the touchline. Don't think any Wolves fans will be too upset if the 3 points they got against Burnley keep them up.
