Neighbours gone away for Christmas, so I can play my guitar as loud & as badly as I like :D
Glad I never gave the boss anything as he gave us exactly the same - nowt!

Last Sunday in Morrisons, all I wanted to do was nip in, grab milk & bread etc, and get out as soon as possible. In the entrance was confronted with a man in Victorian costume with a hurdy gurdy, santa playing an electronic keyboard, and someone in a seven foot tall unidentifiable furry animal suit. Small children with colds, spluttering all over everywhere, parents arguing. You just don't need it do you :rambo: I put a couple of bob in the charity bucket, in the hope it would make them all vanish

No work today. Heaven. Tinkered with the car. Frozen fingers, eye full of petrol. Loved every minute. :*:

Hpe it goes OK Mikey!!

I've been up for a while, caught up on facebook, done the washing up, had breakfast, now I need to put away some washing, then perhaps open my presents before heading round my brother's (and chaos!) for the day.....

Have had Richard's Silent Night on repeat for the last hour - I may just turn it off shortly - I need a full length album for a bit of variety! :*:

Merry Christmas everyone! :D

ahhh..home , showered and a big glass of wine...
Managed to spend an entire day with my folks and not fall out over silly things :Hoorah :Hoorah ..although they did frown a bit when they saw i had taken a book, well i need something to do when they fall asleep an hour after lunch.
I had a really nice time and the kids had sooo much fun.. the youngest is now on guitar hero making his fingers bleed and the eldest boy is arranging his collection of antique lighters!! even the dogs played like mad all day. I was a bit dubious about how it would go, but its been the best one ive had in years... roll on a boxing day, a long walk with the dog , a couple of crimbo films and my arteries clogged with pork pie by 6pm :Hoorah

I nodded off TWICE after Christmas dinner (only for a few minutes each time) but the missus slipped off for a 90-minute kip in bed at 5pm, leaving me to host our guests......no wonder she had enough energy to get up at 7am today for the Next sale!

Crap Christmas for me. Confined to bed with swine flu since Christmas Eve. No crimbo dinner, no booze, no visit to family, no Boxing Day football. A completely shit weekend and still feeling like death warmed up. :(
It really is a nasty illness and anyone who has yet to get it gets my sympathy.

Hope you feel better soon.

This Christmas for me has been something special, I've met someone and he's a wonderful man; kind and sweet and share my interest for taking long walks on the mountain. <3 Haven't been this happy for a very long time.
