Same to you Claire!!

You're not miserable, just sensible - in my day you could call in at your local and have a great time but not now - its ticket only and just not as spontaneous!! It's my age.........

Fireworks have started here.............

I do like the bagpipes on the Hootenanny :D

I'm having a beer, watching the kids play a video game...but then again it's only ten past seven...I am sure at midnight we will all be in a big pile on the sofa fast asleep, dog included.

My Mum rang up in flap, as she was trying to get that, but had got in a complete mix up with freeview & terrestrial & couldn't get anything to work  After I'd 'landed the plane' via the phone, she took one look & said 'Oh no, it looks rubbish' & went back to her knitting :*:

I was in bed. Infact I went to bed about 7 and it was only the fuckers letting off fireworks at midnight that woke me up........that and the Sophsters wrath at me forgetting to wake up and go down to the bar where she was working to see in the new year with her!

.......ah well, apparently I have a whole, full year to try and make up for it!

i can't imagine it being worse than the utter car crash that was the all star impression show on boxing day. quite the worst thing that's ever been on the telly.

I think most of the telly i've had the misfortune to see has been bollocks. Royle Family was piss poor, it hasn't jumped the shark it's done a complete fucking Evil Knievel job over Sea World. Think the best thing i've seen has been Top Gear!
