I guess people get a bit silly at festivals....and a lot of bands probably feel that 90 percent of the crowd are only there for the headline acts and you can understand it happening.
Still, they must have been rubbish - you don't remember anything about them

No ,here because we only have one big summer festival, we dont go just for the headliners...and during the year we go to every small band that worths it..But in general greeks are very passioned in concerts...they participate a lot...but a bit demanding audience, they will make you a god if you show them you ejoy it too or they will complain a lot...i m not saying it is right..maybe its like this because concerts here cost A LOT and there is a concert almost every week, so much money are spent...

Yes, I have noticed that a lot of bands have European tours that consist of gigs in London, Paris , possibly in Germany somewhere and Scandinavia. There are very few that actaully tour all of Europe.

I m not complaining, the last 10-12 years a lot of bands are coming here more than one time...before that it was very rare, but i dont remember much , i was little and didnt go to concerts..
American bands are more difficult to come, and also big names like Bowie for example are the talk of the year when they come because they dont come often...thats why i hear that for example you have concerts there in your town and you dont go and i get surprised, here we defenately go because we may see them again after two years..or never!Bands like placebo and puressence are here every 6 months though..we have got bored of them too...*
but i admit we are a bit aggressive sometimes, for example two years ago that the stupid greek company cancelled Pulp and Cure and brought Dandy Warhols instead, nobody went, we returned the tickets and one put fire on their offices...And again, it wasnt me!

And what's wrong with Grandaddy?!!!!

I like 'Granddaddy', I've got several of their albums!!

Oasis - could never see anything in them, didn't hate them, they just didn't do anything for me either.

The Darkness - yep, they've had their '15 minutes of fame' and will now go back into the oblivion (well, that's if Alun and me don't get together and murder them first!! * x)

Scissor Sister - just naff and boring...will not last long

Whoever set this initial poll up forgot to mention any band produced from the seemingly neverending "bands" (such as 'HERESAY'.....oooops..meant to say 'heresey', which seem to emerge from these seemingly neverending (ex)-reality tv shows such as 'Teen's In Tears' and 'Mommy I diddn't make it on TV '................surely theres one or two bronze medals to be scooped out of that bag!!!!!!! .

Aren't all those acts just so bad we all prefer not to even think about them? Hence them not being in the poll!! *
