He was talking about Radio 2 & 6 Music.
I don't see it as any great loss *if* it means more coverage of 'regular' gigs.
Hopefully mismatched bills on ridiculous 'showcases', that most of the people who actually like somebody who's playing can't get tickets for don't serve much purpose as i can see. Exactly the type of gig where is people here had got in to see somebody like H they'd only be complaining that most of the crowd were talking/seen to be seen/corporate knobs.
With what they pay somebody like Elton John (who obviously needs the coverage...) they could probably knock out a whole series covering more up and coming stuff and start trying to lead the charts again rather than blindly following them and the almighty pound signs.
