My eldest daughter has very likely just kissed goodbye to over £750.00 because "Lowcosttravelgroup" has gone into administration and although an English company they are based in Spain so are not ATOL registered. Luckily the flights are safe but it now means I will have to pay for the accommodation again by credit card and then she has to pay it back to me over the year, so that's double the amount for the same holiday. Really sorry for her as this will be her first foreign holiday away on her own. I mention it in case anyone else is affected, hopefully not.

Does she not have travel insurance ? She should be sorted if she does. If not she should contact her credit card company or bank and see if they can help her under the services paid for yet not received clause.

Either way when you are booking a holiday ALWAYS have travel insurance it has helped me out a couple of times over the years. Get it before you book not just before you go.
