It strikes me that every single weekend since summer has begun, it has pissed down with rain, in Leeds at least. My heart goes out to any 9-5ers on the forum, 'cos I used to be one, and the frustration must be pantamount to someone going through your record collection with jam on their fingers.

It's a bit crap in Stoke Newington. I've been pissed off about the weekday sunshine/weekend rain for the last couple of weeks. I did finish early on thurs and enjoyed a few rays on me way home. The only downside is that i'll have to go in tomorrow to make up for it and i'm just about to meet some mates from Shrewsbury, which means getting absolutely annihilated. Won't be much work in me tomorrow, no sir.

Rats, Liverpool won, kind of expected it. (And sadly I was watching it, very unlike me.)

Avatar is a pic of Cousteau, my other obsession.

I hate everything about the club and its supporters. But they have a way of pulling out results. Sad for West Ham. I know a few New York-based Hammers, and they're crushed. Harewood had a chance to win it at the death and missed a glorious chance.

Liverpool FC does not really concern me,
...but i like the rain! Especially at night, when It keeps away the bastards who think they must "sing" out loudly at 3.30 am under my windows and down the streets. On sunny days in summer, the terrace of the bistro on the other side of the house is very well frequented from morning till 10 in the evening. When I'm sitting at the desk working, I could almost reach through the window and stir up people's coffee. Instead, I'm praying for rain.

I enjoyed watching the footy yesterday...still smarting about the Palace being so shite...but it restored your faith in the game. Well done all.

I like rain very much, I like walking out in the rain, I like the sound of it hitting the roof or the window. I like sunshine too, everything looks more beautiful in the sun. I just wish it wasn't so hot. I like all weathers. As Billy Connolly once said (which I am probably mis quoting) "There is no bad weather...only the wrong clothes."
