I've got a crush on Jeremy Clarkson- although he's certainly not my type, I think he's funny....developed the crush over christmas holidays, that's all I ever watched.....and yes they assessed some nice cars and some shit boxes. But the scenery and drives are always lovely.
Oh crap, they had the series where they went camping....they got a caravan and the three got in a skoda and drove to wales or something and crashed the caravan, jeremy got kidnapped by a granny/fanatic at the campsite and a bunch of other quite irritating things, that made them (him) even sexier, oh and there was driving to brighton to host Radio 3 rush hour/road show--they pissed off a lot of folks then...

Hmmm.

Clarkson can be a bit of a tosser but I like the programme in general. The episode where they went to the deep south and got chased by all the hillbillys and rednecks was one of the funniest pieces of TV I've seen in a long time.

I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

I think that's his act, quite honestly! I bet he's a vegetarian in real life ;)

I find things like Big Brother and Davina fucking McCall far more offensive.

And Eastenders.

And 'property-how-much-can-we-inflate-bastard-house-prices-by-ladder'

Clarkson's like Plato compared to those arses. :?

hmm, i remember when top gear used to actually be about cars....fancy that, a program on vehicles which actually talks about vehicles instead of random unrelated topics

Bit like a topic on the Richard Hawley forum - random unrelated is the rule.

I'm watching the caravanning episode on Dave right now & I'm finding it highly entertaining. I like them all - they're funny.

Yeah - the one where they covered the launch of the new Austin Allegro in 1972 was class - it had a square steering wheel you know...

I watched that one where they bought cars for $1000 in Miami and drove to New Orleans...they stopped off in Bagdad which was about 5 miles from the little town I lived in once...it was funny as fuck when they were running for their lives from that gas station :*: :*:
