Getting well into P-Pod now, just trying to update my computer skills to create slideshow. That's why I'm still here & not in Morrison's just now....

Have you added video to it yet? Not sure what format yours needs them to be in, but you can download the You Tube ones of RH using Zamzar and they look, and sound, pretty good.

Been meaning to try zamzar. Haven't got any videos on yet. They'll be nice to take on holiday :thumleft:

It's fairly straightforward - note that you need to click on 'url' in the first option before pasting in the You Tube details as the first screen that comes up is if you want to convert a file already on your PC. Otherwise it's straightforward.

Whilst waiting for video link to come through on email I just played around with slideshows & inadvertantly made one of my old car backed by Richard's 'Darlin'. Now I'm in a big sentimental heap
Powerful stuff this imagery business isn't it.

Downloaded video from youtube via zamzar - got the email etc. Downloaded it as 'aac' as this appears to be correct format for my MP3 player. Only problem is it seems only to be an audio file, and all broken up at that. This must be something I've done, or not done.
Any suggestions most welcome.

what format did you select for the conversion? I think for the Creative it's the same as the iPod, MP4 (or MPEG4) and DivX.

Assuming you need MP4 - this link is to the Fix from the Culture Show and lasts until around 11.00 tomorrow.

Think that's where I went wrong then. aac is for audio isn't it. Despite all the help options on the software, or probably because there are so many, I couldn't find that bit  Ps, Is it me, or did the link you mention not show up? Thank you for your patience

That's the second time that's happened with that system, I'll try again but by the time you see it it may be too late. I put the link in and then it disappears - happened last week as well.

As you suspected, I was too late to catch the link. Not to worry.
Finally downloaded something to P-Pod though. Went for The Ocean live. So much to choose from, I'll soon have plenty to occupy me for when it rains on holiday :? Thanks for all your help with this

Mute have some podcasts in iTunes which may well play on your machine - they aren't protected and I believe podcasts are designed to play on other machines than iPods - Eoin, have you tried these on a Creative?

And grace is just the measure of a fall.
