Perhaps one of the forum members will be kind enough to burn you a copy and see if that works...............?

Somebody must have those albums................... :?

Can you see the CD contents in file manager? If so try copying them from there on to your hard drive, then click into one of the files and it should copy to and play in iTunes. You'll have to name the tracks though.

In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

The movie needs to be MPEG4 or Quick Time.

Open i Tunes

File

Add File to Library

Browse for the file on your computer

The file stores in the Movie folder in iTunes and synchs to the iPod.

If the file is Quick Time then you need to convert it for iPod - in Windows it's right mouse on the file to get the menu, not sure what in Mac.

I cheated - I bought mine ready converted......... but they're all creaky ones from the 30's and 40's - nothing so up to date as Zulu! :*:

I did buy some software to take the protection off DVD's and reformat so it would play on an ipod - but I didn't understand it! :? :*:

Do you have the current version of iTunes? Are you using a Mac or Windows? If you have newer releases of those CDs, they may have some kind of copy protection - usually only effective on Windows, though.

You can try here:
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93453

If anybody has a Mac, check out the forums on www.maccast.com They have saved my ass on several occasions.

I've just given in to an MP3 player and got this one

dead simple and everything seems to copy over really quickly and I've started walking to work with 25 minutes of music to start my day 8) - mind I had to stop myself singing along like an absolute nutter to Cherokee Dance (doesn't half crank the pace up).

RH'll have the latest download as it's the iPod he was given at the Apple gig and he's only just started putting music on it.

I've heard of a problem where none of a person's CDs shows up or where copy protection stops the content showing in iTunes, but I don't recall Sgt Pepper being copy protected. Certainly my copy worked, and I checked with a few people at work who have that album and all have been able to import into iTunes.
