Post subject:  Forever Young/Farewell To Stromness.

Don't take too much notice of the film here, being actors miming to the song on a TV movie from 1984, but have a listen. Lyrics by Ray Connolly to the music 'Farewell To Stromness' by Peter Maxwell Davies.

Saw the film when it was first broadcast, and the song captured me then. I noted down the line 'Now I'm older, yes and wiser, all my songs to you are sung, Still I'll keep you in my memory, where you'll stay forever young'. I used it as my signature on here for a while. Tonight is the first time I've heard it in 27 years! Never thought I'd find it on YouTube :roll:

Forgive a foolish thought, but I'd love to hear Richard do this....
