What do the rest of you forum folks think of the Chuckle Brothers. Saw them at Scarborough Futurist (Indiana Chuckle and the Mythical Sulk!!!!!) last week with the rest of the family and I bloody love em. I've always had a soft spot for slapstick since I watched Laurel and Hardy when I was a kid. But some people think you're a bit mad when you own up to seeing them............

Bloody hell....I wouldn't dream of putting them up there with the mighty Laurel and Hardy but they are carrying the slapstick baton on with them.

Yes. I remember that from a few years ago. I think he got a black eye but I'm not entirely sure what he did to warrant it.
PS Thanks for Billy Fury CD mate. Bloody class.

............I'm glad I'm not alone. Do you reckon Mr H is a fan? There was a great moment when we left the Futurist, just walking past the amusements so I stopped with our Thomas. I heard 'Tonight these dreams are ours' coming from the speakers. Except it kept getting interrupted by the bingo:

Do you know why you have feelings............two fat ladies
Don't let fear of feeling fool you............keys to the door etc

I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

Haha....Well, I wouldn't put them in the same league now I've grown up a wee bit, but as a kid they were just the business.

Might go an rewatch Big Business now, never has house destruction been funnier.

a mate of mine was confronted by the little (pissed) chuckle bro in a fish and chip shop- he asked her if she wanted her tits signing.

true story.

haha, if you don't ask... an all that!!!

I love the chuckle brothers, saw them when i was a nipper at a cirus in yarmouth back when they were the chuckle hounds!!

They do a mean panto an all, bit of innuendo for the adults and obviously it's all about keeping the kids entertained, our young un loves em.

I met Barry in retail world in rotherham when i was about 10, he was really nice, i went to college with one of ems daughter, obviously we gave her some stick.

On a different note, i think these lads should try and help out the millers, they claim to love the club and are honary chairman of the club, they must have a fair few bob, i'm not saying they should end all the clubs money worries but they should be able to do something, especially with there contacts!!!
