one of the most moving endings to a film in years.

I agree. A couple of freaky moments but not too scary. But the ending - phew! It was really sad but also uplifting, what a mother would do for her child, like she was happy where she ended up so long as she was with her child

By the way did anyone notice the slight resemblence between the actress who played the mother and Kate McCann, especially when she wore her hair back?

A very good story but I only found a few moments scary - I wasn't watching it on a cinema screen in the dark though....................

Think I would rather have read the book - that probably WOULD have given me the creeps...............

This film made me leap out of the cinema seat several times, but was also really interesting and emotional too. Look out for Geraldine Chaplin in it, she's very good! :)

I've just seen this-what a film. I sat in awe throughout apart from when I wasn't utterly papping my pants-motherf**ker of god the whole cinema was bouncing out of their seats- couldn't recommend this highly enough, stunning, beautiful, sad AND scary. What a cracking combination.

It's that bit where she was playing that tag type game where the kids advance when her back is turned......... scared me silly! :? :pale:

Absolutely, it was the game that freaked me out! :D

But then I think that any horror film that includes children in it is naturally far scarier. Was it the changeling that had SCARY kids and that old wheelchair/bathchair on the stairs?!
