I think it's meant to creep you out, that's part of what makes it interesting.

I'd love a copy - I'd put in a place where you wouldn't expect to see it, a corner on the stairs or something - I think it's brill.

I am somewhat intimidated to post a picture as it is an original - hopefully at least a 10 year old would be needed to duplicate it.

A mix of The Ocean and Long Dark Road perhaps? And not sure if I can't actually see Mr H's face about a quarter of the way from the top slightly right of centre? Or am I just barking mad? I like it anyway :D

It's a lovely picture! It doesn't remind me of RH at all, but I'm sure I can see the representation of a packet of fags!

Maybe a bit of roll river roll in there too? And I think I found your 'face' Jan :?

Anyhow, welcome to the forum Calliope, very impressed by your efforts particularly as I find painting my toe nails more than enough of an artistic challenge.

I'm now worrying that Jan hasn't quite finished her packing for the cruise and is planning a quick trip to Fagan's tonight with a large trunk in the back of her car. :?

It's wrong Jan, very very wrong ... less of the 'my' :*:

The Ocean and Roll River Roll. Interesting. I did this just after Lady's Bridge was released and the only other album I had was Coles Corner, so I was listening to both. It was actually an accident. I just happened to put up an old canvas I wasn't sure I would keep and decided to let the color go anywhere it wanted to go. The surprise was when my daughter started practicing it went a different direction and when she stopped it went back the original way. I know this probably sounds nuts, but just FYI. I am now trying a couple other types of music (Chopin, Vince Gill) to see what happens. However, if they come out similar I may have to own that this is simply what the inside of my head looks like.javascript:emoticon(':?')

Thanks for responses!

Welcome to the forum Calliope :D
I don't think it sounds nuts at all - I went to a Jackson Pollock exhibition a few years ago and found myself wondering what he had been listening to when he was working – the paintings had such a strong sense of rhythm that I'm sure he must have had music on in the background.
