my lads are bugging me to take them, I think these films are a bit scary for a 7 year old, we just watch the old ones and I would tell them not to look when the horrible stuff was coming up, we've got a drive in movie theatre nearby and since in my 15 years of living in America i've never been to one, we might do that.

I have been really looking forward to it but the reviews so far have apparently been a bit crap. I'll still go though and make up my own mind - won't beat Temple of Doom though....chilled monkey brains...classic!

hmmm Temple Of Doom is my least favourite film of the original trilogy by far - so hope the new one is at least better than that one.

temple of doom is granted the most silly/kiddy film but it's the one I watched most as a child and therefore is nostalgic for me. Raiders of lost ark is probably better on whole. You get me?

sorry to disagree but Temple is by far the darkest of the 3 - its really dark and violent - especially the US version which is much gorier. the other two are more lighthearted which i think makes them much more enjoyable.

You can disagree that's fine, it makes things more interesting. Of course the cult of Kali is very dark but so is the premise of raiders surely as it's about the Nazis. The melting man at the end is also rather gorey I think. But what the flip do I know, aren't you a professor in film studies or something? I think I better shut up or you will slaughter me

We went to see Spiderwick or whatever it is last month. I was scared, my 7 year old took it in his stride. It'lll be the same with this no doubt. There is great excitement in my house about Indiana Jones. Can take or leave them

The new Indiana Jones film is already available for download from a dodgy Bit-torrent site near you.

Two of my co-workers went to see it last night and both gave it a glowing review. They are usually quite hard to please so I can only assume the film is top quality.
