One for Denise and possibly others. I rarely regret not being in London, but lunch at Boroguh market followed by this sounds like the perfect Sunday (esp if it's cloudy) - Highlight is Cathal Coughlan introducing a showing of a documentary on his career and most recent work, but there's also the recent Joy Division film and a top doc on the Pixies:

All showing at the Roxy Bar and Grill on Borough High St which has a 4m screen. It's £3 in:

2pm Control
(Corbijn, 2007)

5pm loudQUIETloud (Pixies doc)
(Cantor / Galkin, 2006)

8pm The Adventures of Flannery: A Portrait of Cathal Coughlan introduced by Cathal Coughlan and Johnny Gogan
(Gogan, 2007)

OOoh Cathal eh. Hm, somebody failed to mention that in his phone call last night . . . .

Not sure I can make it though but will see what can be done.

very gnomic

did the same person also forget to mention that Mr Coughlan has done a cover of James Yorkston's Tender to the Blues, that's being issued on a JY covers CD as part of the de luxe box set version of the new JY album?

I have to get this stuff of the internet - I have no friends in high places
