Someone asks in the youtube comments if the pianist is Floyd Cramer. Do you know if it is? Love his music.

Thanks for that ..>

Like the comment - David Lynch WAS locked in a dark room with this video on constant loop for 3 weeks early in his formative years...

Enjoyed that - once I'd gotten over the feeling the set was from the Elvis film "Tickle Me".

Looking forward to hearing more of that on your new album perhaps!

Heard this played on Radio 4's PM programme yesterday. After expecting it to be something to laugh at, I realised it's amazing ..>

Cheers Craig :) I remembered I had to knock some part of it off, but not which part! Spent half an hour trying all sorts....apart from the 's'

Ok, so all of this is mimed to released recordings, but here are The Shadows, presumably filmed for TV, in around 1967. Footage I craved & would have willingly chopped an arm off to be able to see, as a teenager. A chance to view probably the most accomplished line-up of the band: Marvin, Welch, Rostill & Bennett & witness just how they played & interacted. And a stock clip of the original Harris-Meehan incarnation from The Young Ones.

Quite a long while ago now I posted this song.

Found out lately that the singer is Roger James, who was a session musician for many of the producers of the sixties, including Norrie Paramor & Joe Meek and a singer/songwriter in his own right.
