Not that I'm condoning watching telly in the afternoon but I just noticed that the spin-off 1971 movie from this TV series is on C4 Wed at 1.30pm. Didn't all the 'kids' look like 20-year-olds? Those C4 afternoon schedules are always worth checkin for obscure old UK movies (to record and watch later, course...)

I used to love it, even though it was soooo corny! I loved the rather slow Dennis (top right of the picture), who had rather a sad homelife. I had a girl in my class who reminded me of him, and I always made a real effort with her.

I used to love Please Sir.................. sadly you don't get to see it much these days - I guess its not PC any more!!

Is the film the one where they go on holiday? Saw that a few months ago - very funny!
