is Mickey Rourke's new film out later this month and by all accounts he is amazing in it. He has already been nominated for a Golden Globe, hopefully an Oscar too, what a comeback that would be. I have been a fan of his since I saw him in "The Pope of Greenwich Village" and it is a well deserved comeback for a great actor.

I have seen a sneak preview version of this filum and can confirm it is absolutely stunning, Mickey Rourke plays his part so well you really forget your are watching him act, its more like a documentary of his life... can't wait to see it on a big screen 8)

It's a good movie. O Rourke is a fine actor and he is very good in this. No-one else really has a part and some of it is daft and some of it's schmaltzy. He'll beat Sean Penn to the Oscar because of the life-art thing. O Rourke smacked the wrong type of person around for bit, i.e. women, but maybe he's done his penance now. Forgive but not forget. All that stuff. Listening to Brucie's The Wrestler now. When you go to see it notice how pretty much everyone stays in their seats watching the credits while the tune plays.

I always stay till the very end of a film, I have to read the credits, listen to the music, the lot, why wouldn't yer if you enjoyed the filum... and also there are some films that throw in a final 'scene' at the end after the credits...
