Didn't think it was too bad, not really outstanding. Original was priceless.

I'm with you Lofty! Going to order the original. Used to love the mother-in-law gag and CJ's farting chair.........it's the little things!!

I've always liked Martin Clunes and think he gives it a fair crack.

In total agreement with my honourable members for Leciester and Sheffield.

My Dad was asked whether he was Leonard Rossiter years ago as he bore an uncanny resemblence to Rigsby at the time - he took it as a compliment...

Wasn't going to watch it but heard a clip on the radio that made me laugh but found it disappointing really - not a fan of Clunes really (detest Men Behaving Badly) - just like many other sitcoms. Won't bother again.

Hard to live up to Leonard Rossiter so shouldn't bother.

Best thing that Simon Nye (the other writer with Nobbs) wrote is How Do You Want Me? with Dylan Moran and Charlotte Coleman, was touching and funny. That truly deserves "another chance to see"

I thought it was O.K. but nowhere near as good as the original.

I love blackbooks with Dylan Moran! Not an average program (in my opinion) Have you seen it?

Alos remember my mum watching the orginal RP series when i was little. Am assuming it was a re-run on the BBC

Have got the Black Books set on DVD and have to say it's one of the funniest things ever.

I'm also couldn't bring myself to watch it. Reggie Perrin is one of my all time fave comedies. If it is so different why don't they give the characters new names and call it something Original?
