Hmmm looks OK I guess - will reserve judgement until I see it. I agree that Basil Rathbone was the best - and Jeremy Brett for TV. Not at all sure about Robert Downey Jr!

Fancy releasing it on Christmas Day though - are any cinemas open? :?

Agree, but I did used to enjoy Jeremy Brett's potrayal of him too...Not too comfortable with this version I must admit..
