Cool! thanks Richard...just checked ebay-some great stuff under the portraits in series..no Lonnie today though. will keep an eye out though

He seems like such a gent on the youtube clips. so unassuming as he stands there rewriting and revolutionising guitar playing!

I think I realized what I missed with Lonnies stuff on "Playing with.."- a pioneer of single string soloing, I really love his fingerpicking one guy agin' the world stuff

Also...speaking of Jethro Tull----as i was earlier

on the documentary last night they mentioned the "wildness" of having a flute as a lead instrument

also featured on this compilation I mentioned

the only thing i ever got with jethro tull was the great bass line and the lead melody of i think an early single called"living in the past"apologies to any"Tull"fans but that music wasn't for me,its ok to like and not like some things some music turns you on,some turns you off,its the way of it all, some folk hate the hell out of me.......fair enough......as long as after their done hating....i haven't any hell left

this one for me.

i love his singing. memories of you, and i found a dream, in particular.

but the guitar slingers will need the cd "blue guitars" with the duos he did with eddie lang, frankly they're scary.

oh, and the portraits in blues sonny boy williamson part one (vol 4) is sublime.
