It is with deepest regret that I have to inform you that Craig recommended it.

It was actually me, then Dave said he'd read it as well. It's ace. Originally a children's book, that's suitable for all ages. Even yours Clapper.

I completely loved it and then I made Sean read it and he thought it was brilliant too.

Thank you people of the board. Okay...although it pains me to say it...thank you Craig.

Aaaargh!

I just had to buy this online because none of the bookshops in Harrow can be bothered to stock it:

Powder by Kevin Sampson who, before becoming a successful novelist, was manager of The Farm. It is the best novel about rock I have read.

Ok, you've sold it to me....it's got to be better than the mountain of Paulo Coelho books I'm reading, all given to me by a good friend who reckons I should read them! Hmm, sorry but I don't need that much religion! :*:

PS Not out to offend any religious types here, it's just, well, if you know the author you'll know what I mean :?

When you've read the book, you'll find yourself left with an overshadowing urge to find out what the song "Desert Rain" sounds like. You'll know what I mean when you've turned the last page.

I'm plowing my way through Paul Auster's "New York Trilogy"
