Still reading 'Powder' that was recommended to me by a few on here a while back...not a bad read at all but just ordered this from Amazon

I've heard that this was one of Dirk's favourite outfits

God, Amazon, were quick, it turned up this morning, and I had it on 'cheap 3-5 day' delivery too!

read 'Cains Book' which is excellent: was a fierce bloke, anarchist/nihilist, longtime heroin user, living on delapidated boats in NYC, wrote porn under pseudonyms to keep himself in smokes and balloons...

sound good?

sounds excellent! he set up the sigma project to bring artists and intellectuals together, it worked for a while there in the 70's where i think about 30 odd projects came together, no one would touch him in britian in the beginning, he had to go to paris to live and get published and they said only if you add loads of sex on every other page! so he did....for young adam...

Look what they did to my title, ma...! - Of course it's "Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?", but I didn't mind, when I took the book from a heap of cheapos in the supermarket.
I've never read anything by P.K. Dick before. Quite good, even in the translation. Quite different, when you have Ridley Scott's masterpiece in mind.

i am currently reading jim bob's (ex-carter usm lead vocalist) 'goodnight jim bob', my kinda book cos the chapters are short so when i finish one i think i am getting through it faster than i am! i like a book that humours me as i am not the world's greatest reading person!

i am still awaiting to get my new (but pre-loved!) exhibition catalogue from the late 80s which has an essay by my favourite artist peter halley in it...so that will be my next read!
