Is it just me, or does anyone else think this is crap??? I love Peep Show and David Mitchell is a great panellist on every show he goes on, but these sketches are at best, boring and worse, embarrassing ! I think i've smiled about once and thats just because I feel some sort of allegience to them...even Miranda makes me chuckle - at least Shooting Stars is back, and that's still funny :*:

Shooting Stars never seems to lose it, was worried what they'd do without George but putting Angelos in the scorer's chair works a treat.

It's not dreadful, but I don't think there's enough gas in the tank really. Shame, as Peep Show is so good.

No it's not just you LadyBlue, i thought they were trying to be a bit too clever. I much prefer low brow, with a touch of slapstick, daft comedy. Finding shooting stars very funny and i quite like the IT Crowd. Apart from that there isn't an awful lot of good comedy about... unless you know otherwise 8)

i'm not keen on it, love 'peep show', 'it crowd', 'facejacker' was good, anything daft really to break the routine of life.

watched the first series of 'extras' again the other night, a really good laff, second series was a bit arsey i thought.

vic & bob = comedy gods

miranda = :?

well glad its not just me then, i love the IT crowd too , this series has been brilliant - I particularly like the boss of Reynham industries .... "its not for you Jen......" :*:
don't know if any of you have caught Rev on BBC 2 - sort of the antithesis of vicar of dibley but quite funny, and i saw for the first time Lee Nelson's well good show, which i didn't think i'd like (thought i was too old) but it was actually quite funny, especially his interaction with the audience ....

It's not that great, is it?

They didn't write Peep Show by the way - just act it out extremely well.

True , it was written by Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong (of the immense The Thick of It)

This is a good clip for an earlier series. Especially if (whisper it) you don't really like football.

I just love Rev! Tom Hollander is superb and in my opinion plays a believable character. How does a C of E reverend keep his faith in todays violent and selfish society? Hollander is a much underrated actor.
